My Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo) cosplay worn at Kitacon 2010

Easily my favourite photo from my photoshoot! :3

Sooo happy I managed to finish this in time!
Wig work included spiking the wig, making extra Fosshape spikes for the wig, covering the spikes with extensions, making extra wefts and sewing in the wefts.
For the bodysuit work included drawing up a pattern, applique-ing all the red to the black, sewing the body together, making 3 failed attempts (T^T), making a 4th that was too big, gradually taking it in bit by bit until it was fitted enough, sewing the sleeves to the bodysuit, making the gloves, hand-sewing the gloves to the sleeves, hand-sewing the zip into the bodysuit, painting and glossing the foot gems and gluing them in place.
Beamsword work included carving the polystyrene ball, hand-sewing the foam sleeves, turning them inside out, attaching to the perspex rod, painting 3-4 coats of shimmer acrylic and PVA mix, then another 2 coats of PVA.
I also ordered custom eartips, Scarecrow Deluxe subtle fangs, yellow contacts and red gem earrings
